the keyimagine a key. it can be any kind of key you want it to be. in my mind, it's one of those little padlock keys, but yours can be whatever you want. imagine that key on your keyring along with all your other keys. if your keyring is like mine you probably have a number of keys. a house key, a car key, maybe a safe key or something like that. all regular, ordinary, every day keys with regular, ordinary, every day uses.
this key you've imagined, however, is no regular, ordinary, every day key. this key fits the most important lock in the world. the only catch is, you have to find that lock before you can use the key. sometimes the lock is very hard to find. some people are led by someone else to the lock and some find it easily on their own, but many people spend a long time searching. for those people, that key, as special as it is, begins to seem useless.
all the other keys on your keyring get used every day. they get to open doors, start cars, lock safes and more. every day they each have a use and a purpose and a service to provide, and all the while that one special key you've imagined just sits there on your keyring, collecting age and rubbing up against other keys, ones that get used every day. anything that never gets used will eventually appear useless, even the key to the most important lock in the world. you might stop appreciating that key. you might think there's no point in having it. you might be losing hope. you might even think about throwing it away. you might give up on finding that lock, the most important lock in the world. of course, you can't find anything if you don't look for it, but if you keep looking for it, one day you will find it.
on that day, when you finally find the most important lock in the world, you recognize, at last, that key on your keyring for what it is. it is not useless at all. it is special. it is the most useful, meaningful, important key in the world. when you open that lock, you find the purpose for that key.and your life changes forever.
now understand what that key really is. it's you. you might feel useless. maybe you're struggling to find your purpose, your use. perhaps you feel as though you're just collecting age and rubbing up against other people, ones who have a purpose and a service to provide, people who get "used" every day. perhaps you're starting to think there's no point in living. maybe you're losing hope. you might even be thinking about throwing your life away.
if you are, take heart. i know it's easier for me to sit here and type those words than it is to maintain hope in the face of hardship, but you can't find anything if you don't look for it. take heart. have faith. keep looking. one day, you will find your purpose. on that day, when you find it, you will recognize, at last, your life for what it is. you are special. you were created by a loving God to be as useful, meaningful and important as anyone else. you will find your purpose and your life will change forever.
remember, you can't find anything if you don't look for it. God created you for a purpose. just keep looking.

COWBOYS WINthe philadelphia eagles are one of the worst football teams of all time. their history overflows with failure from conception to the present and their fans are universally reviled as the worst on earth, having actually booed santa claus off the field in addition to being inbred. the eagles ownership and management are also total morons, having in recent years not only badly mismanaged terrell owens but wasted perfectly good draft picks on the likes of kevin kolb. the imagined "rivalry" between the eagles and the cowboys exists only in the minds of miserable, self-loathing philadelphians. in closing, andy reed is fat.

for some reason this makes me feel speciali got one of those fake-check-cashing-type scam emails and i think it's the first one i've ever received. I've heard about them of course, more than enough times to not only not fall for it but identify it just by its header. that's what made it so humorous to me i suppose. at any rate, here it is in its ludicrous entirety.

asap.. I am David K. M. Fung, the General Manager of Wing Hang Bank
Guangzhou, China. I have a deal in my bank worth of $18.5M to transact
with you. Kindly read the details below in regards to the deal I
am proposing to transact with you.
A middle east oil
merchant Mr, Abdul Wahid Al Khajah made a deposit with my bank for the
past six years and he did not come forward to claim or withdrawal his
deposit and at the end of each year, interest is being rolled over with
the principal sum and a notification is been sent to him.
But
we got no reply until we got an information that mr, Abdul Wahid Al
Khajah was among those that were killed by missile at Baghdad Al-Tarmia
Al mishada village in April 2003. I have been expecting his close
relative to come for the money as the heir, but nobody has come and I
don't want this fund to be send to Chinese Government Reserve
Treasury.
Hence, I want to front you as the beneficiary of
the fund to late Mr Abdul Wahid Al Khajah. (And we shall share in the
ratio of 60/40) I have contacted a Chinese base lawyer that will prepare
the legal papers that will back you up as the beneficiary of Mr Abdul
Wahid Al Khajah.
All that is required from you at this stage
is to provide me with your full name and address sothat the Chinese base
lawyer can commence the paper work. I will use my position to influence
the move of the funds, after you have been made the beneficiary to the
fund. The lawyer will file for claims on your behalf, and secure the
necessary approval and letter of probate in your favour and for the move
of the funds to an account that will be provided by you.
There is no risk involved at all in this matter, as we are going to
adopt a legalized method and the lawyer will prepare all the necessary
documents. Please endeavour to observe utmost discretion in all matters
concerning this issue. Should you be interested after reading these
details.
Please send me the below;
Full name Current address Private phone/fax Private email
upon receipt, I shall discuss with you on further details of this
operation.
Note that upon the successful completion of this
transaction I shall come to your country to use my share to invest in
your country.
Your earliest response will be highly
appreciated. Best regards, Dr. David K. M. Fung
